We all know jeans are basically impossible to wear with Endo Belly. I'm about 5 months post-excision (endometriosis) and #hysterectomy (adenomyosis), and although I'm practically symptom-free (hooray!) I do still experience discomfort and bloating occasionally, plus I'm definitely carrying some extra weight since surgery and lockdown combined. With all that in mind I still haven't been able to wear my favourite clothing much; jeans. I live for jeans. I love them. At home? Jeans. Going out for the day? Jeans. Going out at night? Ha as if, but jeans - and a nice top of course!
I wrote this review on instagram as a massive appreciation for I'm Fine Attire; they have done the impossible and created jeans for us peeps living with "womens health problems". They're similar to maternity jeans (but I think way more comfortable), plus there's a hidden pocket in the front for heat/cool packs (a pack is included). For any of you with endo, adeno, pcos etc, these may well bring you the same amount of joy as they have me! Thanks also IFA for having these as a cropped fit so as they therefore fit me (I'm 5 ft)!
My partner got these for me for Christmas! BEST CHRISTMAS PRESENT EVER.
I have Endometriosis which leaves me in incredible pain to the point where I am a full-time wheelchair user and registered as disabled.
These skinny jean leggings are a GAME CHANGER. For a start, they have pockets, which no other pair of jeggings I've ever owned have had. But more importantly the maternity-like extra-wide, soft waist area means I don't have excess pressure on my sore bits, and it also means that when I'm flaring and swollen the leggings still fit. AND a feature that every pair of leggings should have - it has a built in belt! It's an elastic drawstring-like band with button holes that attaches to a button on the right hip. This is a godsend for anyone who, like me, has a big bum and thighs but a relatively small waist - no more wiggle dance to pull up my leggings every 5 seconds!
The main feature, the real selling point for these leggings though is the heating pack pocket. The jeans come with a little microwaveable/freezable hot/cold pack! I exploded mine in the microwave the first time I heated it because I didn't read the instructions, don't be a me, read the instructions. But if you are impatient or inattentive and do accidentally explode them you can get replacements on Amazon really easily.
BUT the heat pack pocket will actually hold a small hot water bottle. I used a round one with a Polar Bear cover that I got at PaperChase. It makes me look a bit round tummied with the hot water bottle but the microwave heat pack is more or less invisible.
I LOVE my jeggings and I will wear no other trousers. Can't wait to get more in all the colours.
Just what I was looking for to wear on my bloated days caused by my PoTs and BAD condition, the waste section is super stretchy to accommodate my 9 month pregnancy looking bloating & on days when I am bloat free and the fabric sits tightly & smoothly as though it’s never been stretched as much as it has. Far more comfortable to wear than other jeans when sat in my wheelchair. Wish I’d had these years ago!!
